Certified copies of death certificates can be obtained through the Winnebago County Health Department for those who have passed away in Winnebago County, Illinois.
These records may be requested by and released to the family or funeral home. Certified copies may be obtained either in person at the Rockford office or through the mail.

Cost
|
The cost of a certified copy is $15.00. Additional copies of the same certificate purchased at the same time are $4.00 per copy.
