The WCHD laboratory reports pollen counts in four categories; mold spores, grass, tree and weed pollen. This year, WCHD is adopting the NAB (National Allergy Bureau) scale for measurement of mold spores, tree, grass and weed pollen.  This scale is show below. 

 

  
The pollen count report  begins the second week of April and ends with the first hard frost (approximately the 2nd week of October).  This report wll be updated Monday through Friday (after 10:30 a.m.) on this page.  You can also access the pollen count by calling:  (815) 720-4140.

If you have any questions regarding this report, please call the Winnebago County Health Dept. at:  (815) 720-4100 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
