PRESCHOOL & SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN
Have you ever seen your child sit close to TV, squint or have the child say "I didn’t hear you"? These are just a few examples of possible problems. The Audio-Visual Staff of Winnebago County Health Department are certified by the State of Illinois to provide vision & hearing screening, rescreens, referrals and follow-up for vision and hearing problems that might otherwise go undetected.
We service all 3, 4, and 5 year olds; all children in preschools; daycares; and students in Parochial and Private schools in Winnebago County. The Staff also assists County School Nurses with their initial screenings.
