Hepatitis A (2 shot series) $55 per shot
The most common vaccine-preventable disease in travelers. Recommended for people traveling to or working in countries with a high risk of Hepatitis A infection. Transmitted through contaminated water, ice, fruit, vegetables, shellfish harvested from sewage contaminated water or other foods that are eaten uncooked. Symptoms include fever, anorexia, abdominal discomfort, malaise, followed in a few days by jaundice. Hepatitis B (3 shot series) $40 per shot Hepatitis B vaccine is the only vaccine known to help prevent liver cancer. Recommended for travelers in countries with a high risk of Hepatitis B infection. Transmitted by contact with infected blood or blood derived fluids. Symptoms include anorexia, abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomitting, and often progresses to jaundice.
