PHE Family Preparedness

FAMILY AND PERSONAL PREPAREDNESS

It is recommended that individuals and families prepare an emergency kit in the house that will be sufficient for approximately 72 hrs (3 days) without food, water and power. It is estimated that a basic supply of essential items will be available after 3 days following the onset of any emergency.

This 3 day supply is also suggested as preperation for public health emergencies in the event of the closure of services within Winnebago County.
