Do You Need a COVID-19 Test?

You may need a COVID-19 test if you:

      • Are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
        Symptoms
      • are part of a high-risk population with chronic medical conditions
      • are living in congregate situations such as nursing home/retirement housing
      • are a healthcare worker or first responder
      • are a household contact

How to Get A COVID-19 Test

If you need COVID-19 testing:

Drive-Thru Testing Locations

Note: In observance of the July 4th holiday, the testing sites will be closed at the followings times:

  • Auburn High School - will be closed Friday, July 3rd and will reopen on Monday, July 6th
  • UIC Health Science Campus - will be closed Saturday, July 4th and will reopen on Sunday, July 5th

There are two drive-thru Community Based Testing Sites available in our community that offer free COVID-19 testing.

UIC Health Science Campus - Rockford (National Guard and Winnebago County)

1601 Parkview Avenue, Rockford, IL

Open 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. or until daily supplies run out. Anyone who needs a test can come to this site to get tested. No appointment is needed.

Anyone experiencing upper respiratory symptoms, high-risk populations with chronic medical conditions, people living in congregate situations such as nursing home/retirement housing, healthcare workers and first responders. No appointment is needed.
