This year, the Winnebago County Health Department (WCHD) is providing flu vaccines for those ages 6 months and older at no cost to recipients while supplies last. Click here to make an appointment. You can get your flu vaccine and/or a COVID-19 vaccine at these community clinics.

WCHD Community Vaccination Clinics

  • Sunday, October 17, 3pm - 6pm: Northwest Community Center - 1325 N. Johnston Ave. Rockford, 61101
  • Monday, October 18, 3pm – 7pm: Lathrop Elementary School - 2603 Clover Ave., Rockford, IL 61102
  • Tuesday, October 19, 3pm – 7pm: McIntosh Elementary School - 525 N Pierpont Ave., Rockford, IL 61101

For Your Safety and Ours:

  • Wear a face covering
  • Stay home if you are feeling ill or are currently in quarantine or isolation

Know Before You Go

  • Do not wear long-sleeve or tight-fitting clothing/tops
  • When you arrive, please be prepared to provide the name of each person that will receive a flu vaccine
  • There is no cost for the flu vaccine
  • Legal guardians must be present with children under 18 years of age
  • The clinic staff will determine which type of flu vaccine you receive, there is no option to choose at this time
