About the WIC Program
The federally funded Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, nutritious supplemental foods, and referrals to other social and health care services to pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding women, to infants and to children up to the age of 5 that meet eligibility requirements for income, residency, and nutritional risk.
